What This Means
Heater element is defective or burned out; Heater is improperly connected; Main PBA heater relay defective; Low water level causing heater to not be submerged
What actually causes this:
The heating element burned out or the water level is too low for it to heat properly

If your dishes feel cold after a cycle, the heater may have failed

How to Fix

1. Check and reconnect the heater connectors

2. Check drain hose installation — if water level in tub is not right, the heater may not be submerged

3. Measure heater resistance between both ends — normal: approximately 13.5 ohm

4. Check thermistor operation

5. Check heater relay connections on Main PBA
- 6
6. If heater tests normal, replace Main PBA
