The water temperature sensor isn't reading correctly
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: No display
What This Means
Thermistor or Assy Sensor ECS terminal disconnected; Thermistor or Assy Sensor ECS defective (open circuit or shorted); Main PBA defect; Wiring harness damage between thermistor and Main PBA
What actually causes this:
The temperature sensor wire came loose or the sensor itself went bad — the dishwasher keeps running but skips heating
First Thing to Check
If your dishes come out cold or not fully clean, this could be the cause — turn off the dishwasher, wait 30 seconds, and restart
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check and reconnect the thermistor (or Assy Sensor ECS) connector
- 2
2. Measure voltage between both ends of the thermistor — normal range: 0.2V to 4.5V
- 3
3. Measure resistance between both ends of thermistor (disconnect first). Reference: at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F) = 49.12 kohm, at 50 degrees C (122 degrees F) = 17.60 kohm
- 4
4. If thermistor tests normal, replace Main PBA
