Error Code 9C1
Your dryer is getting the wrong voltage from the outlet
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 9C1 / 9C2
What This Means
Under-voltage condition at power supply; Over-voltage condition at power supply; Plug receptacle used (causing voltage drop); Connecting wire length causing momentary voltage drop (1m wire can drop up to 10V); Main PBA fault (sometimes)
What actually causes this:
The electrical outlet isn't providing the right power — could be a tripped breaker, loose plug, or wiring issue.
First Thing to Check
Check your electrical panel and make sure the dryer's breaker hasn't tripped — flip it fully off then back on.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check consumer power conditions — make sure to check operating voltage
- 2
2. Connect a tester to the internal power terminals during operation and observe carefully
- 3
3. Check the voltages — error occurs when under or over voltage is supplied
- 4
4. Check whether a plug receptacle is used — when connecting wire is 1m, momentary low voltage may drop up to 10V
- 5
5. If voltage is normal, check main PBA
