Address soon - your appliance may not work properly

What This Means

Clogged lint screen restricting airflow and causing abnormal temperature readings; Restricted vent system causing heat buildup; Thermistor1 resistance out of range (open or shorted); Faulty wiring or connector to thermistor1

What actually causes this:

Usually a clogged lint screen or blocked exhaust vent — restricted airflow causes the sensor to misread temperatures.

First Thing to Check

Pull out the lint screen and clean off all the lint, then check that your exhaust vent hose isn't kinked or blocked.
