Safety error - Door lock motor or sensor circuit malfunction

What This Means

Faulty lock motor; Faulty micro switch; Damaged main PCB; Loose or damaged harness to lock motor; Faulty oven sensor; No AC 120V voltage to lock motor

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Disconnect power

  2. 2

    Remove harness connected with lock motor

  3. 3

    Check micom switch (COM-NC, COM-NO)

  4. 4

    Measure resistance of lock motor coil (should be 1750-1850Ω at room temperature)

  5. 5

    Check oven sensor per page 31 procedure

  6. 6

    Check harness connection at CN501 of main PCB

  7. 7

    Measure resistance at CN501 of main PCB (COM-NO should be ∞)

  8. 8

    Verify AC 120V voltage is supplied to lock motor during operation

  9. 9

    Replace micro switch or lock motor if defective

  10. 10

    Replace main PCB if pattern is damaged or parts wrongly contacted
