Error Code -SE-

Shorted key — keypad has been pressed continuously for 10 minutes

What This Means

Stuck or shorted membrane keypad; Short circuit in membrane wire harness; Short circuit between connector CN301 pins on main PCB; Short between membrane keypad and membrane bracket

How to Fix

   Check the membrane wire harness to make sure it is properly connected to PCB

2. 2

   Disconnect the membrane wire harness and check the harness, membrane, and PCB for short circuits

3. 3

   Disconnect power and take out membrane keypad from PCB; check whether connector CN301 pin-to-pin has a short circuit

4. 4

   Check whether membrane keypad and membrane bracket have a short circuit

5. 5

   Replace membrane and board if short found between CN301 pins

6. 6

   Replace membrane keypad if short found between keypad and bracket

7. 7

   If no problem with connector on main PCB and membrane harness, replace the PCB
