PCB sensor opened or shorted

What This Means

PCB sensor (NTC thermistor) resistance over 3900Ω (open condition); PCB sensor (NTC thermistor) resistance under expected value (shorted condition); Disconnected harness to sensor; Loose PCB connections

How to Fix

1. 1

   Disconnect electrical power and remove back cover

2. 2

   Remove and measure PCB sensor resistance (normal: 3900Ω at room temperature)

3. 3

   Measure oven sensor resistance (normal: 1080Ω)

4. 4

   Check oven sensor harness connections at Main PCB

5. 5

   Check Control Relay and Bake/Broil harness connections

6. 6

   Repair or replace PCB if pattern damage found

7. 7

   Replace oven sensor and reconnect if abnormal
