PCB sensor opened or shorted - Oven sensor error

What This Means

Open PCB temperature sensor (over 4600Ω); Shorted PCB temperature sensor (under 3100Ω); Open oven sensor; Defective Main PCB; Poor connector seating

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Disconnect electrical power to the range

  2. 2

    Remove upper rear cover panel

  3. 3

    Measure sensor resistances: PCB sensor 3900Ω, Oven sensor 1080Ω at room temperature

  4. 4

    Check oven sensor harness connections at PCB

  5. 5

    Ensure harness connectors are completely seated in CNP207, CNP208, CNP209 terminals

  6. 6

    Replace or repair defective components

  7. 7

    Replace Main PCB if faults found
