Door lock malfunction

What This Means

Disconnected harness from door lock switch or motor; Abnormal door lock motor resistance; Door lock switch failure; Faulty door lock motor; Main PCB malfunction

How to Fix

1. 1

   Disconnect power and open back cover

2. 2

   Check harness connection with door lock switch and motor

3. 3

   Measure door lock motor resistance (Normal: 1.75k-1.95k Ohms)

4. 4

   While operating door lock, measure voltage on harness connector (Normal: AC 120V)

5. 5

   Check if door locking switch is working properly

6. 6

   Measure resistance connectors of main PCB CN204 PIN7 - CN205 PIN1 (Normal: infinity)

   Check voltage (AC 120V) is supplied to lock motor during operation

8. 8

   Replace micro switch or lock motor if faulty

9. 9

   Replace main PCB if problem persists
