Door lock malfunction

What This Means

Loose or disconnected door lock switch; Loose or disconnected door lock motor harness; Faulty door lock motor; Faulty door lock switch; Faulty main PCB

How to Fix

1. 1

   Disconnect power and open back cover

2. 2

   Check harness connections to door lock switch and motor

3. 3

   Confirm door lock motor resistance is normal (1.75 kOhm - 1.95 kOhm)

4. 4

   Measure voltage on harness connector when operating door lock (should be AC 120V)

5. 5

   Check if door locking switch is working properly

6. 6

   Test lock motor switch (com-NO)

7. 7

   If lock motor coil resistance is abnormal, replace lock motor

8. 8

   Check CN300 connector on main PCB (pins 23, 24)

9. 9

   Replace main PCB if necessary
