What This Means

Inverter PCB soldering defect or cold solder joints; Short circuit in inverter power stage; DC voltage output less than 13.5V; Compressor motor defective or locked; Refrigerant cycle failure

What actually causes this:

The compressor motor is locked, the inverter is broken, or there's a power delivery problem

First Thing to Check

Turn off the refrigerator, wait 5 minutes, and turn it back on to reset the compressor

    1. Check soldering status of inverter PCB for cold solder joints

    2. Check for any short-circuited components on inverter

    3. Measure DC 16V output from inverter — normal: 13.5V or higher

    4. Verify compressor winding is not shorted or open

  5. 5

    5. Check refrigerant cycle for blockage
