What This Means

Sensor housing separation; Connector contact error; Sensor disconnection; Short circuit in wiring; Temperature sensing out of valid range (>149°F or <-58°F)

What actually causes this:

Sensor connector came loose or sensor circuit failed

Check freezer temperature readings on display for erratic behavior

How to Fix

    1. Check Main PCB Connector CN30 insertion

  2. 2

    2. Test F Sensor unit for normal operation

  3. 3

    3. Measure voltage between CN30-#5(Yellow) and REG1, Heat Sink (should be 4.6V~0.6V)

    4. Verify IC10 MICOM #57 input voltage

  5. 5

    5. Measure resistance CN30 #5 ´ #8 and compare with temperature table
