What This Means
R defrost sensor housing separated; Sensor connector contact error; Sensor wire disconnection; Sensor short circuit; Sensing temperature above 149°F or below -58°F
What actually causes this:
The defrost sensor wire came loose or the sensor failed, which can cause frost buildup
First Thing to Check
Check if you see unusual frost buildup in the fridge — if so, the defrost sensor may need replacement

1. Check if Main PCB Connector CN30 is inserted correctly

2. Check if R DEF Sensor unit is normal by measuring resistance at CN30 #4 to #8 — compare with temperature table

3. Measure voltage between Main PCB Connector CN30-#4 (Orange) and REG1 Heat Sink — should be between 0.6V and 4.6V

4. Check input voltage of IC10 MICOM #54 — should match CN30-#4 voltage

5. If all normal, recheck bad contact of connector
