What actually causes this:

The external temperature sensor is loose or failed

How to Fix

    1. Measure voltage between Main PBA CN90 pins 12 and 2

  2. 2

    2. Voltage should be within 4.1V to 0.6V range

  3. 3

    3. Check sensor connector for loose or corroded pins

  4. 4

    4. Inspect wiring for damage or separation

  5. 5

    5. Test thermistor resistance at actual ambient temperature

  6. 6

    6. Check for open or short circuits in wiring
