What This Means
Sensor wire disconnected from CN20; Heater element short circuit; Bimetal thermostat failed; Thermistor open or shorted
What actually causes this:
Defrost heater element burned out or thermostat stuck
First Thing to Check
Unplug and check if CN20-6 and CN20-8 wires are firmly connected

1. Disconnect MAIN PCB CN20 from board

2. Measure resistance between CN20-6 and CN20-8
- 3
3. Should read 63 ohms ±7% for freezer defrost heater
- 4
4. 0 ohm indicates short, infinity indicates open circuit
