Error Code 25E
Cool Select Room failed to complete defrost cycle
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 25E
What This Means
CV defrost heater connector contact error; Heater open circuit; Thermal fuse (110°C) blown; Bimetal (BT-121-M) not resetting
What actually causes this:
The defrost heater for the Cool Select Room evaporator did not terminate defrost — usually a blown thermal fuse or open heater element.
First Thing to Check
Run a forced defrost and check if the Cool Select Room is warming — if still fully cold after 15 minutes, the heater circuit is likely open.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Separate Main PCB CN70 and CN70_1 wires
- 2
Measure resistance between CN70 pin 1 and CN70_1 pin 1: 0 Ohm = shorted heater; ∞ Ohm = open wire or fuse
- 3
Check thermal fuse and bimetal continuity
- 4
Check CV defrost sensor voltage at CN30 pins 8–10
