What This Means
Ice maker motor failed to rotate to home (parallel) position within 6 minutes; Defective ice maker assembly; Ice maker motor seized or blocked
What actually causes this:
The ice maker motor got stuck during its startup rotation — often caused by ice fused to the tray, a seized motor, or a position sensor issue.
First Thing to Check
Press the test button on the ice maker (hold 1.5 seconds) and watch if the tray rotates at all — if completely still, check the wire connector at the ice maker.

Press ice maker test switch for over 1.5 seconds and observe if motor rotates

Verify test switch voltage at CN90 pin 4: Stand-by = 5V, Test = 0V

Check CN90 pin 6 (Blade Ice Scoop) and CN90 pin 5 (Guide Ice Full) signals

After replacing ice maker, plug in and observe if normal ice making begins
