Error Code COMP_MOTOR_CONSTRAINT

Compressor motor is seized or cannot rotate

Critical

Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue

Also displayed as: Inverter PBA LED blinks

What This Means

Compressor seized or mechanically locked; Operating with locked rotor for more than 5 seconds; Running below 1000 RPM for more than 5 seconds; Large instantaneous input voltage change; Refrigerant cycle issue

What actually causes this:

The compressor motor is locked up — either it has seized internally, there is a refrigerant pressure problem preventing startup, or there was a sudden voltage spike.

First Thing to Check

Ensure the refrigerator was given at least 7–10 minutes after a power interruption before restarting — the compressor needs time for pressures to equalize.
