What This Means

Wi-Fi module not properly seated; Communication cable loose; Wi-Fi module failure; MAIN PCB failure

What actually causes this:

The Wi-Fi connectivity chip has lost communication with the main board, preventing remote control via SmartThings.

First Thing to Check

Check that the refrigerator is within range of your Wi-Fi router and that Wi-Fi is enabled on the unit.

    Confirm Wi-Fi module is embedded and connected

    Check Wi-Fi is enabled on the unit

  3. 3

    Perform Easy Setup via SmartThings app

  4. 4

    If '[Fridge]_E30AJT51XXXXX' does not appear in AP list during setup, attempt factory reset

  5. 5

    Factory reset: hold Door Alarm button (4-door) or 'O' button (3-door) for ~15 seconds until 'Ar' appears on display
