What This Means

Freezer sensor connector CN20 disconnected; Freezer Thermistor (502AT) defective, shorted, or open; Wiring harness damaged from freezer evaporator to MAIN PCB; MAIN PCB connector CN20 bad contact or damaged; Sensor resistance out of specifications

What actually causes this:

Freezer sensor wire came loose at connection point or sensor element failed

Check freezer sensor connector is fully plugged in

How to Fix

    1. Check MAIN PCB Connector CN20 is fully inserted

  2. 2

    2. Measure voltage between CN20-10 (Yellow) and CN20-12 (Yellow) - normal: 0.6V to 4.6V

  3. 3

    3. Measure resistance between CN20-10 ↔ CN20-12 - compare to temperature table

  4. 4

    4. Verify IC01 MICOM #7 pin 7 input voltage

  5. 5

    5. Inspect MAIN PCB for cold solder and SMD component defects
