What This Means

Humidity sensor connector disconnected; 5V supply missing to sensor; Sensor output outside 1V to 4V normal range; Open or short circuit in sensor wiring

What actually causes this:

The humidity sensor in the hinge area can have its connector dislodged, causing false high-humidity operation of the door heater.

First Thing to Check

Open the upper hinge cover and check that the humidity sensor connector is fully seated.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Check voltage between Main PCB CN30 pins 7 and 9 — should be 4.1V to 0.8V

  2. 2

    Verify 5V is supplied to humidity sensor connectors pins 1 and 2

    Check humidity sensor output voltage — normal range is 1V to 4V

  4. 4

    Inspect connector at hinge for secure seating
