Error Code 45E
Wall voltage too low for freezer compressor to run
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 45E
What This Means
Supply voltage below AC 106V; Shared circuit overloaded causing voltage sag; Damaged power cord or outlet
What actually causes this:
Low household voltage, extension cord use, or a shared circuit with too many loads.
First Thing to Check
Measure the voltage at the wall outlet with a multimeter — it should read approximately 115V AC.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Measure AC voltage at outlet — should be 115V nominal
- 2
Check for other heavy loads on same circuit
- 3
Inspect power cord and outlet for damage
