What This Means

Ice room fan motor failed; Motor wire connector slipped out; Feedback signal line contact defect

What actually causes this:

Fan motor failed or its connector at CN50 came loose, often from vibration during ice dispensing operations.

First Thing to Check

Locate the ice room fan assembly and verify the connector at CN50 is fully seated on the Main PCB.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Check voltage between MAIN PCB CN50 pins 8 (GRY) and 15 (BLU) — should be 12V

  2. 2

    Verify pulse signal at CN50 pin 13 when motor spins

  3. 3

    Check ice room temperature condition (fan on below -13°C, off above -3°C)

  4. 4

    Confirm compressor is running
