Error Code 44E
Freezer compressor motor is locked or restricted from turning
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 44E
What This Means
Compressor mechanically seized; Refrigeration cycle restriction (refrigerant issue); Low input voltage; Inverter PCB solder defect
What actually causes this:
Compressor internally seized, or refrigerant circuit has a pressure restriction preventing the motor from spinning.
First Thing to Check
Check the supply voltage at the outlet — low voltage below 106V can trigger this error before the compressor is physically damaged.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Verify input voltage is within AC 106V to 310V range
- 2
Check compressor and refrigeration cycle for blockage
- 3
Inspect inverter PCB for solder shorts
This Error Applies To
