Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: 2C
What This Means
Sensor housing connector disconnected or loose; Wiring harness open-circuit or short-circuit; Faulty temperature sensor (out of range reading); Damaged Main PCB connector CN20
What actually causes this:
The sensor connector in the fridge compartment has come loose, or the sensor itself has failed and is reading impossible temperatures.
First Thing to Check
Open the fridge, locate the temperature sensor connector, and firmly reseat it.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check that Main PCB connector CN20 is fully inserted
- 2
Measure voltage between CN20 10PIN and 12PIN — should read 4.5V to 1.0V at normal temperatures
- 3
Compare voltage to the sensor temperature table to verify sensor accuracy
- 4
If connector is good but voltage is out of range, replace the fridge temperature sensor
