What This Means

Connector slipped out or open contact; Wire cut or short circuited; Abnormal sensing temperature above 50°C or below -50°C

What actually causes this:

Sensor connector comes loose during vibration or ice maker operation, or thermistor fails from thermal stress

First Thing to Check

Inspect connector CN30 at main control board and push firmly until seated

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Check voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #3 and #7

  2. 2

    Voltage should be within 4.5V to 1.0V range

  3. 3

    Verify connector CN30 is properly seated
