What This Means

Connector slipped out or open contact; Wire cut or short-circuited; Abnormal sensing temperature above 50°C or below -50°C

What actually causes this:

Loose or disconnected defrost sensor, wire break, or thermistor failure

First Thing to Check

Disconnect and reconnect CN30 connector at main PCB

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Check voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #6 and #7, should be 4.5V to 1.0V

  2. 2

    Verify connector is properly seated

  3. 3

    Check thermistor resistance
