What actually causes this:
Thermistor fails, wet connector corrodes, or vibration breaks wiring

Verify CN30 pin 6 connector is fully seated and dry

Check voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #6 and #8 should be 4.5V~1.0V

Inspect defrost heater circuit for continuity

Measure sensor resistance (should be 5.11-5.65 KΩ at 23°C)

Replace thermistor if defective
