What actually causes this:

Thermistor fails, connector gets wet, or wiring breaks

Check CN30 pin 1-2 voltage with multimeter

How to Fix

    Check voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #1 and #2 should be 4.5V~1.0V

    Inspect connector seating

    Measure ambient temperature sensor resistance

  4. 4

    Replace thermistor if abnormal
