What This Means

Something like a coin, hair pin, or small clothing item is blocking the drain pump

Check the drain hose behind the washer for kinks — also check the drain filter if your model has one accessible from the front

How to Fix

    1. Check whether the drain pump revolutions are restrained by foreign material — remove as directed

    2. Check the drain pump resistance — resistance: 13.5 to 16.5 ohms

    3. Check the wire connections and terminal contacts on Main PCB and Drain Pump ASSY

  4. 4

    4. Check the method to remove freezing in the winter season and remove as directed

  5. 5

    5. If the connector or wire may have poor physical connection, check the drain pump resistance
