What actually causes this:
The temperature sensor that monitors wash water is disconnected or faulty

Turn off the washer, wait a few minutes, and restart — if the error returns, it needs service

1. Check the thermistor resistance — should be 66.187 to 36.941 kilohms at 20 to 30 degrees C

2. Check the connections for the temperature sensor connector

3. If the temperature sensor has a functional error, replace it
