Error Code 9C1

The washer is not getting enough electrical power from the outlet.

Critical

Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue

Also displayed as: 9C1

What This Means

Consumer power conditions are poor; Under voltage supplied to the washer; Plug receptacle (extension cord) used causing voltage drop; Main PBA fault (sometimes)

What actually causes this:

The washer is plugged into an extension cord or a shared outlet that drops voltage when other appliances run.

First Thing to Check

Plug the washer directly into a wall outlet instead of an extension cord or power strip.

Parts Involved

Main PBAPower Cord

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Check the consumer's power conditions

  2. 2

    2. Make sure to check the operating voltage

  3. 3

    3. Connect a tester to the internal power terminals during the Boil or Dry operations and observe the washing machine's operation carefully

  4. 4

    4. Check the voltages

  5. 5

    5. Check whether a plug receptacle (extension cord) is used — when the connecting wire is 1m, a momentary low voltage may drop up to 10V

  6. 6

    6. If all checks pass, Main PBA fault — replace PBA
