What This Means

Washing heater short-circuited or wire disconnected; Heater contact check or temperature sensor fault; Water level sensor operates without water due to freezing; Temperature sensor at bottom detects 100–150°C; PBA relay malfunction; Drying heater short-circuited or wire disconnected

What actually causes this:

The heating element has burned out or a wire connection to it has come loose.

First Thing to Check

Unplug the washer for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and try a cold water cycle to see if the washer works without heating.

    1. Check for connection between wire and heater

    2. Check for disconnected wires

  3. 3

    3. If wash heater is faulty, replace it

  4. 4

    4. If wash-thermistor is faulty, replace it

  5. 5

    5. If the main PBA relay is suspected, replace PBA
