Too much detergent was used, or a non-HE (High Efficiency) detergent was used in this high-efficiency washer.
First Thing to Check
Wait for the washer to finish removing the suds on its own — this is normal and it will resume the cycle.
How to Fix

1. Wait for the washer to remove the foaming — 'Sud' or 'SUdS' is displayed during removal

2. 'End' is displayed when the removal of foaming is finished

3. Normal cycle proceeds after foaming removal
