Error Code 9C1
The washer is not receiving enough electrical power
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 9C1
What This Means
Under voltage supplied to the washer; Extension cord causing voltage drop; Main PBA fault (sometimes); Defective Inverter PBA; Plug outlet used instead of direct wall connection
What actually causes this:
The washer is plugged into an extension cord or a weak outlet that drops voltage
First Thing to Check
Make sure the washer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not an extension cord or power strip
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check the consumer's power conditions and operating voltage
- 2
2. Connect a tester to the internal power supply terminals during the Sanitize Cycle and observe operation carefully
- 3
3. Check the voltage — error occurs if supplied voltage is too low or too high
- 4
4. Check whether a plug outlet or extension cord is used — when the connecting wire is 1m, a momentary low voltage may drop up to 10V
- 5
5. After eliminating the AC Connector PBA, check whether it is shorted, or replace Main PBA
- 6
6. After eliminating the motor connector, if motor is shorted replace the motor and PBA; if not, replace Main PBA
