What This Means

What actually causes this:
The temperature sensor at the back of the wash tub has failed or its connector came loose
First Thing to Check
Turn the washer off, wait 30 seconds, and restart — if the error returns, it needs service

1. Check the connections for the washing heater temperature sensor connector

2. Measure the thermistor resistance — should read approximately 12k ohms at room temperature

3. If the washing heater temperature sensor has a functional error, replace it
- 4
4. If the sensor tests normal, replace the Main PBA
