What This Means

Washing heater is short-circuited or has a wire disconnected; Washing heater in the tub has a contact error; Temperature sensor fault in the heater assembly; Water level sensor operates without water (frozen water or other reason); Temperature sensor at bottom detects 100 to 150 degrees C causing power shutoff; Heater engagement fault — heater is out of place; PBA relay malfunction (if heater has no error)

What actually causes this:

The heating element has a broken wire or is not seated properly in the tub, or the temperature sensor has failed

First Thing to Check

Unplug the washer immediately — if this code appears, the heater may have overheated

How to Fix

    1. Check the connections for the washing heater temperature sensor connector

  2. 2

    2. Check the heater resistance — should be 27.1 ohms for 1900W product or 26.2 ohms for 2000W product

  3. 3

    3. Check the thermistor resistance — should be 12 kilohms at room temperature

  4. 4

    4. Verify the heater is properly seated in the bracket inside the tub

  5. 5

    5. Check for frozen water preventing proper water level detection

  6. 6

    6. If the temperature sensor has a functional error, replace it

  7. 7

    7. If the heater tests normal, check the PBA relay
