What This Means

Air hose connected to the water level sensor is damaged or punctured; Air hose is clogged with foreign material; Air hose is folded or kinked; Too much lubricant applied to the air hose insertion point; Hose disengaged from the sensor; Faulty water level sensor (internal soldering defect); Water level sensor terminal is disengaged; Main PBA fault; PBA connector terminal not connected

What actually causes this:

Most commonly caused by a kinked or disconnected air hose behind the washer drum.

First Thing to Check

Cancel the cycle, unplug the washer, wait 5 minutes, then restart. If the error returns, the hose or sensor needs attention.

How to Fix

    1. Check the water level sensor terminal and connector are properly connected

    2. Inspect the air hose for damage, kinks, folds, or clogs

  3. 3

    3. Verify sensor frequency: should read approximately 25.5 kHz with no load (hose folded)

  4. 4

    4. If the sensor is faulty, replace it

  5. 5

    5. If the check persists despite corrective action, replace the main PBA
