If an oven smells or smokes during the first few uses, this is normal – factory insulation adhesive needs to cure. Advise the customer to use the oven a few times before concluding there is a fault. If the smell is gas-like, that requires immediate gas leak diagnosis.
installation
The inner door glass has a coating side that must face the cavity (oven interior). Verify orientation using a multimeter: the coating side reads less than 100 ohms, the non-coating side shows no reading. The SOFT print marking appears on the chassis side only – do not use the print marking alone for the cavity-side glass orientation.
