Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E iS
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Check connector between Main PCB and ice-room/ice-maker sensor. Reconnect if loose or disconnected.
- 2
Step 2: Measure resistance at CON3 10th Pin ~ 9th Pin. If 0 ohms (short), replace sensor.
- 3
Step 3: If OL (open), proceed to Step 6.
- 4
Step 4: Compare measured resistance to temperature/resistance table. If out of spec, replace sensor.
- 5
Step 5: If resistance is within spec, explain normal operation to customer.
- 6
Step 6: Check sensor harness continuity. If wiring intact but error persists, replace Main PCB. If wiring is broken, repair harness.
