Freezer Temperature Calibration Offset (Option Code 0/1)

Option Code 0 (Freezer Room 7-SEG) on Reference Value 0 adjusts the freezer standard temperature in 0.5°C increments from -3.5°C to +4.0°C. Codes 1–7 are negative shifts (-0.5°C each); codes 8–15 are positive shifts. This is useful when freezer runs slightly warm or cold after compressor replacement.

Seasonal

Defrost Interval and First Defrost Cycle

The very first defrost cycle after power-on is a concurrent defrost of both F and R compartments, occurring after 6 hours ±10 minutes. Subsequent defrost cycles for the freezer run every 12–48 hours depending on operating conditions. Pause time between defrost and cooling resumption is 1–10 minutes ±1 minute.

Cooling Defect From Fridge Compartment Frosting — Option Shift Fix

If the fridge compartment has excessive frost on the evaporator (not the condenser), the corrective action after defrosting is to shift the R temperature sensor calibration by +2°C using Option Setting Mode. This adjusts the control point to reduce frosting recurrence. Check self-diagnosis first for sensor or fan errors before applying the option shift.
