Freezer cooling fan is not working

Also displayed as: 21 (Freezer LED blinks)

What This Means

Freezer fan motor failure; Fan blade obstructed by ice or foreign material; Bad wiring connection to fan motor; MAIN PCB relay or control circuit defect

How to Fix

   1. Enter self-diagnostic mode via Engineer Mode (select '3')

2. 2

   2. Measure voltage at MAIN PCB CN51 pin 17 to pin 19 — should be DC 7V to 12V when motor is running

3. 3

   3. Check pulse signal at CN51-15(PNK) — should alternate DC 7-12V with below DC 2V

   4. If no voltage, check connector CN51 for bad contact

5. 5

   5. If voltage is present but fan does not spin, replace fan motor

6. 6

   6. If fan motor is normal, replace MAIN PCB
