Error Code IE

Inlet Valve Error - water supply problem detected

Moderate

Address soon - your appliance may not work properly

What This Means

Water level frequency below 24.6 kHz (air chamber or tube clogged); Filter inlet valve clogged with foreign material; Inlet valve connectors broken or loose; Resistance of inlet valve assembly outside 0.8-1.2 kOhm range; Inlet valve connector voltage 120V DC indicating failed valve; Connector to MAIN PWB disconnected (NA4, BL6, RD6); Electrical connection incorrect (main harness fault); Water level frequency still below 24.6 kHz after connector check (pressure switch)

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Confirm IE is displayed

  2. 2

Press WASH/RINSE and DELAY WASH simultaneously to check water level frequency

  3. 3

If frequency below 24.6 kHz: check air chamber and tube for clogging

  4. 4

If frequency OK: check if filter inlet valve is clogged - clean or replace filter

  5. 5

If filter OK: check if inlet valve connectors are broken or loose - reconnect or repair

  6. 6

Check resistance between each terminal of INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY - should be 0.8-1.2 kOhm

  7. 7

If resistance out of range: replace INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY

  8. 8

If resistance OK: check voltage at inlet valve connector - if 120V DC, replace INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY

  9. 9

Check connector to MAIN PWB (NA4, BL6, RD6) - reconnect or repair if disconnected

  10. 10

Verify electrical connection using wiring diagram - replace MAIN HARNESS if incorrect

  11. 11

Recheck water level frequency - if still below 24.6 kHz, check PRESSURE SWITCH

  12. 12

If all checks pass but error persists: replace MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY

  13. 13

Installation safety check: no water tap leakage, no freeze, no hose entanglement, no water shortage, no shrinkage on supply hose, no supply hose leakage
