Error Code LE
Locked Motor Error
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Motor drive connector (GY4, 3-pin male white) on MAIN PWB not connected to stator assembly; Poor electric contact at motor harness connectors; Motor harness between stator assembly and MAIN PWB is open-circuited; Hall sensor out of order or defective; Rotor magnet cracked; Stator resistance out of range (should be 5-15 Ohm between phases U-V, V-W, W-V)
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm LE error is displayed.
- 2
Check motor drive connector (GY4 on main PWB) — reconnect if disconnected or disassembled.
- 3
After pulling out GY4 connector, check resistance of Gray 3P male connector in wire: U-V, V-W, W-V all should be 5-15 Ohm (U=1, V=2, W=3). If out of range, replace stator.
- 4
Check rotor magnet for cracks — replace rotor if cracked.
- 5
If resistance is in range, check IPM in controller. If IPM is defective, replace MAIN PWB Assembly.
