What This Means

What actually causes this:
The lid wasn't closed all the way, or a piece of clothing is hanging over the edge keeping it from closing

Open the lid, make sure no clothes are caught on the edge, and close it firmly until it clicks

3. Check the resistance for Reed SW (white-green wire) — resistance should be approximately 0.2 ohms between terminals
