What actually causes this:
The heating element is stuck on or the temperature sensor is giving a false reading
First Thing to Check
Stop the washer immediately and do not open the lid — let it cool down for 30 minutes

2. Check the thermistor resistance — should be 66.187 to 36.941 kilohms at 20 to 30 degrees C

3. Check the connections of the temperature sensor

5. If all components test normal, replace the Main PBA
