What actually causes this:
Something (usually a piece of clothing) is caught in the door preventing it from closing all the way.

Open the lid, make sure nothing is caught in the door area, then close it firmly.

1. Check the Reed SW resistance for the door — checking part: White-Green wire, resistance approx. 0.2 ohms

2. Check the Door Lock/Unlock Motor resistance — checking part: Black-Brown wire, resistance 33 to 46 ohms

3. Check the Door Lock/Unlock Contact resistance — checking part: White-Red (Lock) and White-Blue (Unlock) wire, resistance approx. 0.2 ohms

4. Verify door is properly closed and no laundry is caught in the door

5. Since 120V power is connected, check if the power cord is disconnected or the door switch is defective
