What actually causes this:
The motorized lid lock has worn out mechanically or its wiring has come loose.
First Thing to Check
Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try again.

1. Press the power key to off display and remove the power cord from the outlet

2. Check the door lock switch connector

3. Motor: Check BLK(1) & BRN(2) terminals — Motor Resistance approx. 33–46 ohm

4. Lock: Check WHT(4) & RED(3) terminals — Lock Switch Resistance approx. 0.2 ohm

5. Unlock: Check WHT(4) & BLU(6) terminals — Lock Switch Resistance approx. 0.2 ohm

6. Check the disconnection of wire: Motor PBA(CN801) No17 & 19, Lock PBA(CN801) No21 & 23, Unlock PBA(CN801) No23 & 25
