What This Means

Water level sensor air hose is damaged (punctured); Air hose is clogged with foreign material; Air hose is folded or kinked; Too much lubricant applied to the air hose insertion point; Hose disengaged from sensor; Internal soldering fault on sensor; Water level sensor terminal is disengaged; Main PBA fault; PBA connector terminal not connected

What actually causes this:

Usually the small rubber air hose connected to the water level sensor has come loose, gotten kinked, or cracked.

First Thing to Check

Open the top panel and look for a small rubber hose near the top — make sure it is firmly attached at both ends and not kinked or cracked.

How to Fix

    1. Check the water level sensor terminal connections and verify properly connected

    2. Check the part code of the water level sensor connector

  3. 3

    3. Check the water level sensor terminal frequency (Approx. 26.4 KHz without water, Min 25.9 KHz)

    4. If the water level sensor hose is broken, check all wire connections

  5. 5

    5. If the water level sensor is defective, replace it

  6. 6

    6. If no problems found for all above procedures, replace the main PBA
