What actually causes this:
The lid lock mechanism has worn out or a wire connection to the lock has come loose.
First Thing to Check
Open and close the lid firmly and listen for the lock clicking into place.

1. Check the Door Lock/Unlock Contact resistance between terminals

2. Check for Motor insulation status resistance and repair it if necessary (Checking Part: Black-Brown Wire). Resistance: 33 ohms to 46 ohms between terminals of the Motor

3. Check whether the door lock switch unit is inserted

4. Check whether the door lock switch unit is damaged
- 5
5. If the door lock switch unit is defective, replace it
- 6
6. Check the Door Lock/Unlock Contact (Checking Part: White-Red Wire for Lock, White-Blue Wire for Unlock). Resistance: Approx. 0.2 ohms between terminals

7. If the main PCB is defective, replace it
